Petrolina and Εni S.p.A.: A new strategic agreement
Rebranding of Agip petrol stations to Eni

The Cyprus petroleum company Petrolina and Italian giant Eni S.p.A. have renewed their cooperation for another ten years. The new agreement, which is in force since 1st of January 2017, concerns the renewal of license for Petrolina stations to use the Eni brand names/logos and signage. 

Based on the new agreement, all Agip petrol stations, which operate in Cyprus will be rebranded to Eni, complying to Eni’s new standards. 

The renewal of the cooperation for another 10 years was signed at Eni’s Headoffices in Rome on 13 January 2017, by the Executive Director of Petrolina (Holdings) Public Ltd, Mr Costakis N. Lefkaritis, and Mr Giuseppe Ricci, Chief Refining & Marketing Officer of Eni S.p.A, in the presence of the petrol stations and lubricants management teams of the two companies’. 

Besides, on the same occasion, Petrolina and Eni renewed their equally important cooperation in the field of lubricants. The cooperation concerns the exclusive license for the importation and trading of Eni lubricants, greases and special fluids in Cyprus. 

Both agreements are part of a strategic programme to develop and strengthen the Eni brand’s presence in the Cypriot market, both in terms of the petrol stations network as well as the trading of lubricants, by Petrolina. 
Petrolina and Eni count over four decades of steady and solid cooperation.
