Petrolina (Holdings) Public Limited announces that on 31 January 2026 the acquisition of the entire share capital (100%) of ExxonMobil Cyprus Limited was completed by its wholly owned subsidiary, Med Energywise Ltd. The total consideration paid for the acquisition amounts to €45.1 million, following the finalization of the prescribed completion adjustments, in accordance with the Share Purchase Agreement dated 27 November 2024.

Following the change in ownership and its integration into the Petrolina Group, ExxonMobil Cyprus Limited will be renamed eWise Cyprus Ltd, upon completion of the relevant procedures required by law.

In a related statement, Mr. Dinos Lefkaritis, Executive Managing Director (CEO) of Petrolina (Holdings) Public Limited, stated that he is proud to be strengthening the Petrolina Group with the addition of such a significant brand. As he noted, the Group aims to further leverage the brand’s long-standing commercial presence and heritage as the ESSO branded supplier for Cyprus, thereby ensuring the continued operation of the service stations under the ESSO brand.

Mr. Lefkaritis also thanked all those who contributed to the achievement of this strategic objective, as well as Eurobank for financing the transaction, a significant development within the Cypriot market.
