LPG

Liquified Petroleum Gas, known as LPG, is a flammable mixture of hydrocarbon gases used as fuel in the domestic market, in heating equipment as well as in certain factories’ applications. It is a mixture of propane (C3H8) and butane (C4H10), which changes depending on the season (during winter more propane is added, whilst in summer more butane is added). The characteristic smell of gas is added in order to detect a leak. LPG is produced during the refining of crude oil.

The company trades LPG through five brands (PETROLINAGAS, CENTRAGAZ, PETROGAZ, Eurogas and LINA GAS) and supplies to residential and industrial customers, both in bulk and LPG cylinders, either directly or through agents throughout Cyprus.
