Community and Society
Giving back to the community has always been an integral part of the operating philosophy of Petrolina. Our goal is to contribute in the creation of sustainable growth, through trustworthy long-term relationships with society and investments that provide lasting benefits to the community. We have, through the years, built genuine partnerships with the civil society and aid agencies.
Being deeply conscious of our corporate social responsibility, we are actively involved in community programs, through supporting and sponsoring a wide range of organizations, from sports to charitable organizations with a strong focus on children. Petrolina employees are encouraged to dedicate part of their time and skills to fundraising and participation in volunteering programs, such as blood donation, tree planting and recycling.
